Learn About Few Cities In Korea In 60 Seconds

Korea is really an interesting place to travel, everyone wants to go there for one reason or the other. It might be because of the cool weather, their culture, their food, their mode of dressing, their working style, or maybe they got inspired by their motivating and interesting drama. Before you travel to Korea, below I’ll list some cities you’ll love to visit when you get there. I’ll talk about (Busan, Deokjeokdo,  Damyang, Jinhae, Seoul, Gyeongju, Boseong, Bukchon Hanok Village, Jeju Island and Yeongam Gurim Village)

 Busan

Busan is South Korea’s second largest city, it is located in the southeastern corner of the mainland. Busan formerly known ad Pusanand now officilally Busan Metropolitan City. It has a population  of over 3.5 Million inhabitants.The city itself is modern, fashionable and cosmopolitan; Busan is home to the World largest department store, traditional markets and sophisticated restaurants.


Deokjeokdo

Deokjeokdo, formally known to all as Deokumldo Island. It is recommended to first time island travelers and family visitors. Deokjeokdo Island is part of Incheon Metropolitan city with several beaches, historical sites and cultural facilities, the island remains a popular torist destination.


Damyang

Damyang is located towards the southern tip of South Korea and is actually a small country containing a small town and villages.  Damyang country is a country in Jeollaanam-do South Korea. Notable local products include bamboo goods and strawberries.


Jinhae

Jinhae is mostly visited for its annual spring cherry blossom festival, when the city’s cherry blossom trees are in full bloom for a short 10-day period before the petals start to fall. Jinhae is a district in Changwon City, South Korea National Railroad.

 Seoul

Seoul - the capital of South Korea, situated in the north-west of the country on the Han River; population 10456000 (est. 2008). Extensively developed under Japanese rule, it became the capital of South Korea after the partition of 1945. SeoulSeoul, city and capital of South Korea (the Republic of Korea). It is located on the Han River (Han-gang) in the northwestern part of the country, with the city centre some 37 miles (60 km) inland from the Yellow Sea (west). Seoul is the cultural, economic, and political centre of South Korea.

Gyeongju

Gyeongju was the capital city of the ancient kingdom of Silla. The city is often referred to as a “museum without walls” because of the many cultural relics scattered throughout the city. Almost everything in this city, from the streets to the mountains, is rich in history.
Historically known as "Seorabeol is a coastal city in the far southeastern corner of North Gyeongsang Province in South Korea. It is the second largest city by area in the province after Andong, covering 1,324 km2 (511 sq mi) with a population of 264,091 people (as of December 2012.)

Boseong

Boseong, and its surrounding Boseong County are famed for their green tea plantations, which, far from being merely utilitarian, are artistically contoured over and around the local hills. Originally known as Daehan Dawon, this is the most famous green tea plantation farm in Boseong, a popular travel destination in the southern part of Korea. It's the oldest, largest and most beautiful of the area's tea gardens.
While living in South Korea for two years and traveling extensively around the country, I discovered many beautiful and awe-inspiring places. However, if you had to ask me for my favorites, theBoseong Green Tea Fields would easily be near the top of the list. 

Bukchon Hanok Village

Bukchon Hanok Village is a Korean traditional village in Seoul with a long history located between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Royal Shrine. The traditional village is composed of lots of alleys, hanok and is preserved to show a 600-year-old urban environment.
 Bukchon Hanok Village reflects 600 years of Seoul's history. The village is situated between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace, and its streets are lined with traditional hanok. 

Jeju

Jeju Island formerly Cheju Island, is an island off the southern coast of South Korea, in the Korea Strait, southwest of Jeollanam-do Province, of which it was a part before it became a separate province in 1946, and more recently Korea's first and only Special Autonomous Province.Things To Do On Jeju Island; Hike Mount Hallasan. Yeongam Gurim Village

Yeongam Gurim Village. As well as being a historical South Korean village, Gurim is also close to the Wolchulsan National Park. The national park is one of smallest and least well known in the country, which makes it quiet and relatively free from coach tours of tourists. Yeongam Gurim Hanok Village has a 2,200 year-long history, stretching from the Three Han States to Proto Three Kingdom Period.
